Absolutely do not give a 3 year old Nyquil. I think it has alcohol in it!

as long as it meds made for the right age range. If its not don't give. Cause if you have to go to the ER for taking too much meds you will get Children Protcetion called on you.. I know when my kids was younger they found a bottle & children's tylenol & ate some.. be careful

No, absolutely not. Nyquil is like 10% alcohol and is not meant for children under the age of 12. There is stuff that is over the counter that is meant for children, like pediacare, triaminic. There is even robitussin for children. But do not give a 3 year old nyquil.

No! If it doesn't say "children's" on the bottle, don't give it to her. There's no accurate way to adjust the dose for her weight that small, and because metabolism and body chemistry are different, they don't necessarily metabolize things the way we do. Look at the back of any medicine bottle. If it does not list a dose for your child's age or weight, do not give it to them. You do NOT want to have to go to the ER and explain that you gave your 3 year old adult meds.

I'm pretty sure the label on Nyquil says for children 12 and over it's ok. I would find a different medicine that is dosed for your little ones.

Depending on what the symptoms are, I've used Pediatric Sudafed, Motrin, Tylenol, Dimetap, Pediacare or Benadryl. My sons is 2, so I assume you can use any one of those for your 3 year old. Just be sure you use the age appropriate bottle. :)
