I am looking for a place that I can take my son to do "safe" trick-o-treating. He is only 14 months and he is not ready for going door-to-door yet. Any suggestions in my area where I could take him to still have some Halloween fun? Thanks in advance moms!

What can I do next?

I know in the past that South Coast Plaza did trick or treating in a few stores, I would call their information desk. Then you can take him on the carousel too ;)

Here are some websites that I found by entering "safe trick or treating in costa mesa" - www.popcostamesa.com and www.ocfairviewchurch.org - you might find more. These two are churches and the events are free to the public.

huntington beach main street, it's great!!!, they block off the whole street and there are many activities going on, kids love it at any age, it does get busy, we strolled our 6 mo. old around and she loved just looking at everything, it's a true family event

have fun

I don't know if this still happens, but the Mall's used to have a treat or treat event. The kids go to each store. I did this when my oldest(now 13) was about two.

Or you can just look up City of Orange

Hope this helps

You should check out South Coast Plaza...I'm not sure if they do this anymore, but they use to hand out candy.
