Safe Carpet Cleaning

Hi!

I really, I mean really!, need my carpets cleaned. I have waited because I'm concerned about the chemicals in the products professional carpet cleaners use. Does anyone know of a company that uses "safe" chemicals. I was thinking of buying a big steam cleaner, one that just used the steam from hot water, no chemicals, but they run $400!

Thanks,

N.

I bought a Bissell ProHeat Carpet Cleaner at Sams for about $200. You can use Bissells cleaners with it; however, I have an infant son and prefer not to use chemicals either. We just use vinegar and water solution to clean the carpets, works great on odors and stains (spaghetti and formula spit-up).

I am a SHAM with a 6 month old daughter. We JUST had our carpet cleaned last week. The company we use is called Action Extraction. The owner's name is Chuck and he is FANTASTIC! He will do a thorough job, prices are very reasonable and all cleaning products are child friendly. You will be very pleased. The number is 800.713.4333.

Best Regards,

My father has had a carpet and furniture cleaning business for 30 years. I'm not sure what he uses but I do not believe they are very strong like some cleaners use. His # is ###-###-#### Arnold Service Co/Darrel Arnold. He'd be happy to answer any questions

Hi N.,

I have also used the greener cleaner for carpet cleaning. They did a great job and their pricing was very reasonable. They did not try to up sell as other companies have done with me before. They have a 20% off coupon here on MamaSource.
Good Luck!

Hi N. --

ChemDry is the place to go. Don't be fooled by the name, it was named long ago when people wanted different things... but the chem is basically heated seltzer water... totally safe. My boyfriend works for them and I've seen him get out some of the nastiest stuff, and it seems like a miracle. We had spilt red wine on our carpet, and he brought out the truck to clean it. Not only was I impressed by the clean, but it dried so fast... they say 2 hours, but I swear it was faster. That means no water, and thus no chance of mold building.

Give them a call

I highly recommend Four Seasons Chem Dry in Waterford 9248.###-###-####). They are extremely professional, punctual, efficient, and, best of all, they use green products. I am a freak about using chemicals around my two year old twins and I felt very comfortable with them. The solution they used can actually be safely ingested by humans. They do offer a pre-cleaner, which is non-toxic, but does contain some chemicals and I always decline to have it as part of the cleaning regimen (the carpets and furniture still turn out great). I've used them twice and would definitely use them again.

Find a "Chem-Dry" carpet cleaner. Their cleaner is called "The Natural" . It is made from natural things. It is safe and non-toxic.

Check with Meyers Cleaning. Let me know if you would like their phone number, but they have green, non-toxic cleaning products available. They are also very reasonable. I wouldn't waste your money on a steam cleaner, and they do not actually CLEAN deep into the carpets.

Hello N. ~

I've been using Chem Dry (Jeremy)for several years...they don't use the chemicals that some of the other carpet cleaners do; very professional & reasonable. I think they have a couple locations.
