I need some help... I opened my dryer this morning to find blue streaks of ink all over the inside of it. And upon pulling the clothes out I found numerous ink stains on a majority of the clothes. Does anyone know how to get this out of my dryer and clothes???
Hairspray works to get ink out, though it might not work since the clothing has been through the dryer. You can try to put an old towel under the stain between the layers of clothing and spray, then dab. It will take forever. It's the only thing I've found that work.

Never tried this with ink, but it works with blood and makeup: hydrogen peroxide! Yep. Couldn't believe it. A nurse taught me that one, and it takes spots right out. Children's paint, makeup, blood, etc. Doesn't hurt the fabric either. Let us know if it works on ink!
LOL, Been there and it is the worst...The best thing to do is use nail polish remover for the dryer-Clothes, try to use the remover on them as well if they are not real delicate. Hope this helps. Good luck!
Nothing works better on ink stains-anywhere-than Sol-U-Mel made by Melaleuca. I tell everyone all the time about their products. No harsh chemicals, very effective, cheaper, and delivered to your door. You've got to try them. Way safer and healthier for your family than the brands we've been using for years: cleaning products, bath and body, makeup & skincare, first aid, sunscreen, vitamins!

I've had this happen a few times. Shout Advanced worked on some of the smaller stains with a repeat wash. If you can find it Carbona has a product called Stain Devils #3 Ink & Crayon. It works AWESOME!!! It is in a small yellow bottle usually on the very top shelf where stain removers are. Good luck!

This happened to me about a month ago because DH left a pen in his pocket! To clean the dryer, use nail polish remover. Worked like a charm. I treated the clothing with Shout, scrubbed it into the fabric, and washed in warm water. For some pieces of clothing, I had to do this several times. Good luck!
Try Mr. Clean eraser.
rubbing alcohol will take it all out. I have done this several times. I pour the alcohol on the ink stain and scrub it with a toothbrush. It takes a little while but it works.
I remember that hairspray will take out ball point pen from clothes. It has to be the aerosol type, cheap type is OK, the one in the big can. I don't know how it works once they have been through the dryer.
Lighter fluid. The kind you would use to refill a lighter.
