Hi Ladies,

Anyone know how to get ball-point pen off a computer screen? My 4 year old decided to "color" my computer screen this morning! Thank you!

What can I do next?

Melissa is right..I would try a "magic eraser" you know the ones with Mr. Clean's face on them...they really work, and are only a couple bucks. They got permanent marker off my counter!

Good Luck,
K.

Sounds like you got a solution but just for the record...hairspray works to remove ball point pen. This works in the laundry too. Saturate the stain with hairspray and wash as usual. On solid objects you can spray it directly or wet a rag. Wipe with water afterwords.

Not sure about computer screen, but for walls. . .Toothpaste, let sit for ten minutes and wipe off. I googled "How to remove Ball Point from walls?" Good Luck

A.,

Have you tried the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers? They've gotten crayon, marker, permanent marker and grease off the walls of my house.

Hello A.,

WE use the dry wipes to clean ours...or you can purchase wipes specifically to clean electronics. :)

I had this same thing happen, by a friend's child, I used alcohol to remove it. I did call Dell first to be sure that it was safe to use and for the screen that I have, it was and it all came off. Good luck!
