Removable Pool Fence Needed

Hi Mama's!

I need to get a removable pool fence installed ASAP. My 16 month old twins love, love, love to be outside. I freak out everytime they go near the water, and while we're doing lessons this summer, I still feel I can't ever be too safe. I had Baby Gaurd come out this morning and give me a quote, but they want $900. Is this normal? I would like to shop around and not go with the first place that comes out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks Mama's! We went with Baby Guard and it has been awesome! We can open the door now, let the boys play outside, and since we can see them from the kitchen, they are ever so happy to get to play freely without 8 million "no's!" from mom and dad :) Thanks for the advice!

Hi L., I will save you a lot of time and shopping prices...we just went thru this a year ago! Call AZ Childproofer's or it may be under Arizona Child Proofers. They were the best price and did a great job and I called EVERYONE! We had a pool fence put in the house we RENT! We have 3 kids and did not want to risk anything, although they are all great swimmers. We have an agreement with the owner that if we want to leave it and she wants it when we move, she will reimburse us for 1/2 of what we paid. But if we want it, we can take it with us! I believe I spoke with Mayva when we did our fence, but anyone should be able to help you! Good luck and congrats for being so responsible and taking care of the kids! (and anyone else that happens to get into your yard!)

I met with 3 companies and did some research too. We are going with a baby guard, they are installing next month.

Baby Guard is registered with the BBB and ROC with no complaints. Bob has been in business 12 years and his installer (his partner) has been with him 12 years as well.

I have had so many bad experiences with companies in general that I wanted to go with a company I felt was secure. The price is relative because it all depends on how much fencing you are wanting and the height (4ft or 5ft) and if you want a gate. We are getting 50ft of fencing 4ft high manual gate for $1026.

Protect A Child was cheaper and seemed reputable but they are not registered with the BBB. The owner/installer was nice and has been doing it a long time as well.

Good luck.

L., that is a very reasonable quote. Unless your pool is the size of a bathtub, you will likely not get much lower. Good luck.

Hi L.,

We have a baby guard fence and are very happy with it. $900 sounds like a very reasonable quote. We paid a lot more than that, but I would do it again in a second.

L., You will be more then satisfied if you go with Baby Guard. I have a BG fence and love it. They are honest, reliable, knowledgeable and very nice to work with.
