Relocating to Lakewood - Seeking Holistic/integrative Pediatrician

My family is relocating to Lakewood later this summer and I'm curious if anyone knows of a holistic pediatric group anywhere on the West side of Denver? We are hoping to find a doc that practices Western medicine but is open to alternative/integrative approaches to health. And while we're at it - my husband and I would be thrilled to find the same sort of general practitioner for ourselves. Thanks for your help!

Because I am in business myself (StarChild Tutoring Center of Denver),I get to networking meetings. One practioner I know you could call is Wanda Bedinghaus. She has an office about a block west of Wadsworth, south of 285. She has a lot of experience with all kinds of healing, and comes to homeopathic from being an MD of several years experience. Tell her I recommendedyou to her, OK? Good luck!

I take my baby girl to Dr. Paston at Green Mountain Pediatrics. I've been very pleased with her care of my daughter. I found this practice out of an immediate need of a pediatrician close to our home -- the regular pediatrician located in Boulder just wasn't working well for me, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Dr. Paston's perspectives on treatment without initially visiting with or interviewing her before taking my child in for care. She's all for treating with nutrition first, open to homeopathics, and using prescriptions as a very last resort if at all. I have a nutrition degree from a naturopathic medicine university so I was thrilled to find Dr. Paston. ###-###-#### or www.greenmountainpediatrics.medem.com

I would definitely call my pediatrician for a recommendation. This is office is full of wonderful people who can point you in the right direction.

Also, if you need help in finding a home or a rental - please let me know. I am a realtor and you can see a couple of happy mamasource members. Let me know what I can do to help you.

Have a great day.
