Reed Diffusers

WOW.. It is so nice to see how much thought parents on this site are putting into buying gifts for daycare/preschool teachers/nanny/babysitters. I have taught preschool for 12 years and I have to say, I love the gift cards as I can use them or share them with my own kids over christmas break!! I know parents mean well but for me being in the teaching field for so long.. I really have so many ornaments and candles so I do prefer a gift card and truly appreciate it.

I think panera, caribou and starbucks are nice and nurturing places for gift cards $10.00 and under as we can treat ourselves to a nice sandwich or drink!

Funny though you should ask about those diffusers as I almost bought the pear scented one.That is my favorite scent in candles at pier one; not too overpowering..

Pottery Barn had their fall ones on clearance too for about the same price. I personally would like to receive one of those but you know, you never know what scent someone is going to like. I suppose you could just send along a gift receipt and they could return/exchange if they like. Pier one is one of my favorite stores!

Reed diffusers are nice gifts. But from a few friends of mine that are teachers, they love giftcards ... especially to Target. Teachers spend so much of their own money throughout the year... it helps replenish it for them. :)

Go for the gift card. Scents are very personal and whenever my teacher friends and family get anything with a scent it usually is given away and or swapped.

I say go gift card. I agree that scents are a personal liking and you just don't know if that person will like it. You can never go wrong with a gift card and sweet note in a card.
