Hello Moms,

I am looking for recommendations for a portable DVD player with dual screen. We are taking kids(4.5 and 19mo old) for a trip to San Diego and LA, so planning to buy one.

I checked out some online, but could not find anything with good reviews.

Thanks for your help in advance,
M.

I have seen them in the past at Target. There are some that even have two DVD players so each person can watch a different movie. Good luck.

We just bought an RCA one from Target right around Memorial Day. It was on sale for $99 and works great. It even has a remote control. I'm not sure if it is still on sale or what the regular price is.

I got one from Target a few years ago. The brand was Kawasaki. It has two screens that attach to the headrest and it came with a carrying case and attachments to use in the car or the house. For another $75 or so you get one that played two different movies. I didn't splurge at the time but now the kids always seem to want to watch a different movie. We recently just got headphones...get some if it doesn't come with...so much better for the parents.

I bought a set at Target around the holidays, not a name brand but it works great I think it is called Trutech. It is 2 screens and the dvd compartment is behind one of the screens I think it was around 100 bucks. I wouldn't reccomend spending a ton of money on the top of the line, your kids (or at least mine) will want to operate it and they can be rough ; )
