Hey there ladies. My husband is asking for a special dessert for his birthday. Its something that my sister in law makes (sadly we haven't been in contact in about 2 years, she and brother split up and I don't think this is the right time to make that long needed phone call)...

All I can remember is that she crushed up either vanilla or peanut butter sandwich cookies for the crust, used I think Vanilla pudding (mixed with peanut butter) for the filling and topped with whipped cream and crushed reese's peanut butter cups, she made it in a 9x13 inch pan...

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Can anyone share a recipe? I need to pass this on to a friend who is making this for him, or I would just experiment myself...

Thanks!!!!

What can I do next?

I haven't looked at the other links and I'm not sure if this is too late, but here's one my friend's hubby makes that sounds very similar:

Layer 1:
1 package Nutter Butter cookies crushed
1 stick melted margarine/butter
Mix & press, and bake at 350 for 6 min

Layer 2:
8oz cream cheese
1 c. cool whip
3/4 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
Mix & spread

Layer 3:
1 Small pckg white chocolate instant pudding
1 Small pckg choc fudge instant pudding
Make puddings according to pie directions
Mix and spread

Layer 4: Cool whip and chopped up Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Good luck :)!

Not sure if this could be it. I am a big p.b. addict so I am copying this one and the other one from Amanda. :) I hope you find the one you need.

Honestly, this sounds like a Jello thing out of a box and she just enhanced it with crushed candy and doubled it to make it a 9x13. If any of these recipes aren't quite what you are looking for, head to the grocery store and check out the no bake jello peanut butter cup dessert. See if that's it. :o)

I hope you find what you are looking for!
