Hi E.. I have a local guy I use but he is in Franklin. His name is Ed Szymanski and his company is called the PC Handyman Ph: ###-###-####, Email: ____@____.com, web: www.pchman.com. I am in a business networking group with him and he is fantastic. I trust and refer him frequently. I know he does travel but not sure how far. Not sure if you are ever in the area to drop off beause it would be less expensive if you brought it to him.
Hope this helps!

You might want to post this on Craigs List. List what the problem is and how much you are willing to pay. I've had great luck with that. Good luck!

Hi. you don't need a computer repair technician. You just need to get rid of Internet Explorer. I was having the same problem a while ago and thought the same thing. I have to have internet access to work (I work from home). I contacted an IT friend of mine and he said the problem wasn't my computer, it's the internet provider. You need to download Mozilla Firefox. It's great and has way better options than Internet Explorer. So, if you can get online for 5 minutes on your computer, get it and then ditch Explorer! You won't turn back!
Good luck!

I agree with the person who said you probably don't need to have a tech person look at it - just install something else (IE 7 or Mozilla) and then get rid of IE8. Also remember that just because Microsoft comes out with something new, it doesn't mean you have to immediately install it - I usually wait until my employer goes with a new product before I put it on my home computer - we do extensive testing here so when it finally hits my machine at work, I know it's ok for home. That being said, if you're having more problems than just that, I've had my computer worked on before at Charlie's Computers in Bridgewater on Route 18. My computer was having a lot of issues and they had to back up the data, re-format the hard drive and re-install the operating system. This all cost $90 (including the initial diagnosis) which I considered pretty reasonable.

This is going to be cryptic, but I cannot remember the name. This computer store is on Easton/ Rayham border. It was recommended to us by a Comcast tech and we have had great success. It is on 138 past the giant milk bottle on the left hand side of 138. It is in a little shopping plaza, there is a Honey Dew or DD there and a pizza place. It's coming to me now, sorry baby brain, I think it is CTS- computer services. Good luck or feel free to email- it may come to me later. ____@____.com. Pretty sure it is CTS
