Radical Parents for Organized Get-togethers

Not sure how "hip" I am but I love to nurse, co-sleep and "wear" by 2 month old baby boy. I also have a 4 year old girl and we live in Gresham.

I am looking for playgroups/moms to talk to during the work-week while my husband is at work.

I have a son who was born May 20th, and I've been wanting some sort of playgroup that's exactly what your asking for. We live in SE and I know a few other moms in this area with children around our babies ages who may be interested as well. I'm really starting to need some additional support from those who are going through the same things I am! (breastfeeding, babywearing, seperation anxiety for my son and me...etc). Hopefully we can get something together here!

I'd love to meet some other moms with babies to get together with! My son, Max, turns nine months next week and is really starting to crave social times with other kids. And I'm a SAHM who's struggling to stay hip despite the long hours alone with a baby. We live on eight acres in outer SE which is kinda isolating but would be fun for hosting a get together. I would love to get together with other Attachment Parents as well! I found one AP group in Portland, but they only meet once a month on Fridays in the evening (6:30/7pm). My little one (girl, 9 months) goes to bed around 7pm and Friday evening is one of the few evenings my husband and I have alone time together, so it doesn't work well for me...

Let me know if you organize anything! I'd be happy to have people over at my home as well, although I live in SW...
