Hi Moms. My sister-in-laws bridal shower is going to be a Fun Casino Type Party. Funny Money will be given and can be earned as games are played and then people will be able to buy prizes at the end. Does anyone have any games ideas besides the old stand bys - blackjack, poker, was etc? Thanks for any ideas! K
Ever tried "Indian Poker"? I don't know if it's a for real poker style but my Dad and us kids used to play it. Deal each person 1 (one) card (face down) making sure they do not look at it. Each person then holds the card to their forhead so it faces the other people. Bids are now bet on what you think your card would be based on what everyone else has. Fun!!!
We played a cute game at a party. Everyone was given a small sheet of paper and pen and we used the words gamble,casino,las vegas,etc. and who ever came up with the most words using just the letters in that word won. We had a 1 minute time limit so that we could continue the other games. The paper we gave them was a replica of a poker card on one side and blank on the other.
You can use the words Bridal Shower, Marriage, Honeymoon also if you want to keep the bridal theme. Have a great party!
One I played at a recent event. Everyone put their name on a real dollar bill from their pockets...dropped it into the hat...at the end a drawing was made and that person got all the money in the hat. Or you could donate that money to a charity of that person's choice. I didn't win but it was fun b ut we did have about 250 people.

This one isn't really casino related but could be incorporated as everyone is playing other games. "Who's water will break first?!" Michael's Craft store has little plastic babies in the bridal section. You freeze them in ice cubes and everyone gets one. You can not bite it, put in micro, or other obvious means. Whoever gets their baby out of the ice cube first, and has their "water break", wins.
