So What Happened?

Thank you all for the great suggestions. I did make some ham roll ups w/wheat tortillas and cream cheese...delicious! I also made some suddenly pastas, primento and tuna tea sandwiches, stuffed eggs and a spring punch receipe from kraft.com. We had a BLAST. If any is looking for a girls day/night, host one of these purse parties...www.michebag.com

you do not want anything greasy since people are going to be handleing product so keep that in mind.
here is a low cal Sangria beverage
1 bottle rose wine, chilled
1 peach thinly sliced
1 orange, halved and thinly sliced
1/2 pint fresh rasberries
2 tbsp super fine sugar
fresh minth (garnish)
1 cup club soda, chilled
mix fruit/wine/sugar in a pitcher refridgerate for 20 min up to 1 day (good to make a few hours before the girls get there or that morning) serve over ice and garnish with mint and a few splashes of club soda on top.

I second the veggie/fruit tray idea. I also make these tortilla rolls that are yummy. You just spread cream cheese thinly on the tortilla, lay some thinly sliced turkey or ham whatever you like, then a little bit of salsa. Roll it up and slice it in about five chunks, stick a toothpick through it and it is ready to go! If you want some flair you can use flavored cream cheese like the kind with chives and you can use whatever heat of salsa the group would like, I always do mild to be on the safe side. I always get rave reviews on those little rolls! Have fun :D

I was just reading about an appetizer online that got great reviews. I'm just waiting for another girl's get together to try it. Look it up on www.allrecipes.com. They are called Yummy Roll Ups. They look delicious, sound easy to make and it looks like you can make them ahead of time and refrigerate.
