Hi Renee,

I have two children at Viewpoint. They have been there four years. They are very happy. The education is very good and they have good friends. What would you like to know specifically?

hi! Friends in my neighborhood whom I grew up with went to Viewpoint in Calabasas. Great school, as far as I know. All went to good colleges.

It is a strict, academic school. There are no gray areas here.

I have a friend whose son goes there. He is a very gifted student and is thriving at the school.

I live in Calabasas and am planning on sending my now 3.5 year old there in 2009. I have a good friend who sent all three of her children there...two of which are still attending. They are truly great kids, well versed in athletics and academics. Viewpoint is known for it's academic toughness, however my friends kids have had plenty of time for sports, music, art, and just plain fun in their lives. Harvard Westlake may be the only school in the area that tops Viewpoint on University placement. However, I don't think that the extra commute time is healthy for a child. I know that Calabasas is known for it's public schools; but I grew up with kids that went to Calabasas High. Their education was not any better than the education I received at El Camino. I believe that kids need a better education today to compete in this world economy. Viewpoint can offer the extra edge that I want me daughter to have.

Good luck with your decision,

Jamie
