I just bought a blanket for a baby shower, and I need to find a place that prints (name and birth date) in small quantities. Any ideas? Price range?

I don't know where you are located, but there is a place at Metro North and the independence center that sells hats and they embroider on them. I took a soccer bag to the metro north mall and they embroider it for $5.
Their is an embroidery shop that I use inside the WalMart at 159th & Metcalf. (In the Shops along the East Wall by the CheckOuts)
They offer quick service and great prices. They recently engraved our Quilted Christmas Stockings for $9.
You could try Moon over the Mountain embroidery in Gardner. They do all of my husbands logos for his work shirts and she does a wonderful job!
My husband owns a small business and we have all our printing done at Olathe T-Shirt & Trophy. It's a family owned store and everyone is really nice. They definatly do small orders but I don't what they'd charge for a blanket. There's usually a set up fee and then a separate fee for the actual embroidary.

I know that "Things Remembered" which I THINK is exclusively in indoor shopping malls, embroiders onto blankets. BUT, I'm not sure if they do it on blankets you didn't buy in THEIR store. But it's worth a phone call to ask. I can't remember the last time I was in a mall-- so I'm not sure which malls around here have the shop, but the yellow pages can solve that mystery!
