Hi! I am looking for a good preschool in the Chandler area near Ocotillo and Az Ave. I have looked around and am having a hard time findin gany preschool program that's less than $1,000 a month!
Anyone have any suggestion on a place that they know of that is good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

What can I do next?

We absolutely love our sons preschool. Montessori Christian Academy on Chandler Heights between McQueen and Cooper. It is a wonderful loving environment and is the only AMI Certified Montessori school in the area. I am a complete fan of the montessori learning experience for young children. Their outdoor environment is amazing! Call to schedule a tour, you'll fall in love. 5 Stars all the way!

Not right in your area, but my friend and her mother opened a preschool last summer on Greenfield & Pecos (south of San Tan Village) called MorningStar Academy. After trying preschools from the biggest, most $ ones down to the smallest in-home ones, she still couldn't find a preschool for her son that fit her standards. So, she started one of her own! It's small and homey, yet has big facility-type things like cameras so you can see what your kid is doing at all times from home, and they are licensed and insured!!
My 3.5 year old daughter currently goes there and I help out there also. They are offering great deals for registering now for 2010-11 school year. I believe they are also offering a summer program again. I really suggest you check it out, it's WAY less than $1,000. I definitely think it's worth it to call and set up an appointment so you can check it out, it wouldn't hurt, right???!! Good Luck!

I live near Ocotillo and Alma School and am familiar with what's available out here. I am the director at King of Glory Preschool in Tempe. KOG is a very loving, warm and friendly Christian preschool with extremely affordable tuition rates! Check out the website www.kogaz.org. I know it is a bit of a drive, but the 202/101 will get you there quickly - I do it daily! Call if you are interested. I'd love to give you a tour!

I take my two year old son to Premier Learning Academy (PLA) Preschool on the SW corner of McQueen and Riggs. He loves it there and the teachers are great. As a former teacher, I appreciate the learning environment they provide, but I also love that the kids are given plenty of time to play and explore. I would highly recommend this school to any of my friends. I know it is a difficult decision--I visited a ton of preschools before making my final decision. Good luck searching.

Take a look at Carebear. They have two locations: McQueen and Alma School / Arizona Ave and Chandler Heights.
