H. - I send my son to First Baptist Brandon, 3 days a week and highly recommend it. I have also heard great things about St Andrews. The VPK prgram can be great too, if you want to send him 5 days a week. Best of Luck to you.

Check The Peacock's Plume at the corner of Bell Shoals and Bloomingdale. My daughter and niece are both attending their VPK program. They love it and are learning so much. It is a Monday - Friday program, but well worth it.

My nephew attended St. Andrew's Church pre-school. My sister did extensive research before sending him there and actually had to wait in-line starting at 2:00 a.m. to get him a spot. She has said many times that the wait was well worth it. The teachers are extremely involved and make actual lesson plans and the kids make real crafts (not just coloring pictures). My nephew loved the envirorment and his teachers. I live in S. Tampa but wish that I lived closer so that I could send my son there. It really is an amazing place.

Hi H.,
Hillsborough County has a voluntary preschool program for children that are four years old. The program runs during the school year and the kids go five days a week for four hours a day. They have several Voluntary pre school facilities around the area. The program is free of charge and there is no income requirement or fees involved. My son attends Creative World prescool in Riverview. The program has been very beneficial to my son. It has helped him prepare for kindergarten and has given him the chance to make friends. The four hours gives him a break and kid interaction as well as gives me time to do extra things around the house. Hope this information is helpful to you.

I HIGHLY recommend Limona Village Chapel in Brandon. My daughter is there now, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE it! Everyone is so friendly and nurturing, and they really have thier act together. My daughter has really flourished there this year. Good luck!

My daughter attended Mary Go Round on Hannaway in Riverview. It's right across the street from the Elementary school. Unfortunately, I have no idea of the fees, since my daughter is now in 2nd grade. However, I can tell you that I fully trust the owner & the staff. My daughter was very happy there & is actually disappointed that I don't need to send her there for aftercare. Good Luck!

Hi H.,
I have had great experience with these two pre-schools. Central Babtist Christian School and First Babtist of Brandon. My 9 year old still goes to CBCS, and we love it.
Hope this helps,
K.
