We are looking for a preschool program in our area. We have had our daughter at a school that is full time montessori. However we are having another baby and I will be taking a year off or so. I want to keep my daughter in school however don't want to pay almost $1000 a month. I would be happy with a program that is 9-2 or something that would give my husband time to work and then pick her up. Please help, I have been searching online and can't find anything really helpful.

It's in Mckinney (stonebridge dr and coronado), but I teach at Crosspoint Clubhouse and I think it is fantastic. We have a few 2 year old and 4 year old openings.

Custer road Christian day school at Custer road united Methodist church is very good. My son is starting his second year there in 2 weeks. It is a 9a-2p program m-f (either 2, 3 or 5 days a week). My son goes 5 days a week and it is only $425 a month.

Suncreek Child Development Center is wonderful! Located on McDermott Road in Allen, is very close to Plano/Frisco/McKinney.

You should look into Primrose School of North Plano. They offer 1/2 day programs from 8:30-2:30 and they also have a great curriculum! My son has been attending since he was 6 weeks and has learned so much! He is now almost 2 and absolutely runs out of the door to go to school! They are an accredited program as well which was really important to me when I was looking for a school. They also have a stellar record with TDFPS which is also something you should check out when choosing a school. They are located at 5801 Coit Road and I believe they are offering Free Trial Days right now so you can let your little one try it out before you make a decision. It can be a tough decision but I will tell you from experience this is a great school! Good Luck on your search!

Hi K.,
How old is your daughter? A friend of mine has a Montessori daycare in her house for 3 to 6 year old kids. She is certified Montessori and passed her inspection. She lives in Villages of White Rock Creek neighborhood (near Coit and McDermott). Let me know if you want to have her contact information and I will gladly give it to you!
Good luck!
Helen

Might be too far north (Preston and Eldorado) but Spanish Schoolhouse is wonderful!

We have loved Children's Discovery Center at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano. It's located at Coit & Parker. Both of my sons have gone there starting with Mothers Day Out when they were one. My second one is about to start his last year there. They have been around for probably 30 years and came highly recommended to me 7 years ago. Good luck!
