I am relocating to the Parsippany area and am looking for a half day preschool for my 4 year old daughter.

Not sure where you are exactly in Parsippany. If you are close to Morris Plains, check out the Morris Plains Coop. I enrolled my 2 y/o dd there for september. Here is a link of their website.

The deadline for new student enrollment was jan 31, so if there is no spot open, you have the waiting list option.

The nice thing too is you can co-op and the tuition is cheaper if you do, but if you are not able to, you just pay a little bit more. The difference is minimal.

I've also heard that many parents like Joyful Noise, also in Morris Plains.

My son goes to Boonton Area Nursey School. It is about 10 minutes from Parsippany. You can also try St. Peters which is in Parsippany. BANS is great because his class has only 8 children with two teachers and the price is reasonable.
Good luck.

Our daughter is only 2 1/2, but she attends Bright Horizons in Parsippany (near the corner of Rts 202 and 10). They are kind, wonderful educators. Kerri is the director and she is a peach, give her a call, she'll be happy to talk to you. ###-###-####.

I live in Parsippany, too - the western end (it's very big) so I'm actually closer to Denville. I'm the head teacher at a preschool in Denville. It's called Denville Community Church Nursery School and we have 3 classes for 4 year olds. There are openings in all three, at the moment. There is a MTWam session that goes from 9-11:30am and a MTWpm session that goes from 12:15-2:45pm. There's also a WThF session that goes from 9-11:30am.

Our telephone number is ###-###-####. I'm working in the office today. Our director (Theresa Ackerman) is out today and tomorrow, but I could answer questions and send you out an info packet in the mail.

I really love working there and the teachers are all very good. (There are 2 teachers to a maximum of 18 students, but we have less in the classes at the moment.)

Have a great day and I look forward to your call!

L. Morris
