I was hoping I could get some feedback on some yoga studios on the northside that also have prenatal classes. I heard Sweet Pea Studio had wonderful classes, but I looked on their website today and it seems as though they are closed. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

What can I do next?

A bit late with this answer...but for those who are looking for Sweet Pea's Studio, I am still around. I am Jennifer B. and I opened Sweet Pea's Studio in 2005. 6 years and two children of my own later, I came to the challenging conclusion that I could no longer manage to run a Studio, and I closed the business. In those 6 years, Sweet Pea's became more than just a space for my practice as a massage therapist and as a Yoga and birth educator. It became a wonderful community for families seeking support and connection and it was a very difficult decision to close. But it was clear that to parent and tend to my family I had to shift my focus. Since closing the space, I have continued teaching and seeing clients, and in August I actually brought my work back into the space on Ravenswood which used to be Sweet Pea's. It is now a business called Mother Me, and my friend Rita DiRito Surgal is the owner. I continue to use Sweet Pea's Studio as the name of my private practice, and I have a list of many of the wonderful teachers who were a part of the Sweet Pea's community on my web site, www.sweetpeasstudio.com. So very long answer, you can still find pre and post natal yoga, massage and birth education by contacting Sweet Pea's Studio. All my best,

Jennifer B.

Hi E..
I'm also looking for some prenatal classes. A friend of mine told me about Frog Temple in Wicker Park. Sahe did prenatal pilates, but i'm sure they have yoga. Good luck.
