I am a nutritionist teaching Prenatal Nutrition Classes and I am currently seeking a place to host these classes in Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Danville, Pleasanton, Berkeley, or Lafayette. Please let me know if you have any ideas in mind as I have been trying to find a location for a while now! I currently have a place to teach in Pleasant Hill but expecting moms have been demanding other locations in the East Bay! I appreciate all ideas!!

Thank you,
L. Vachani

Check out the Nurture Center in Lafayette. That's where I took my childbirth preparation class.

I've also taken various classes at Birthways in Berkeley.

L.,

I know that The First Congregational Church of Berkeley, located on the corner of Channing and Dana streets rents their classrooms and meeting spaces.

I am not sure how much they charge but I believe they are fairly resonable and they have a large parking lot behind the church making it easy to get there.

Also, The First Presbyterian Church on College Avenue rents their classrooms as well.

Good luck and I hope you find a good space in Berekeley. I am actually pregnant and would be interested in attending one of your classes.

Check with BANANAS. They might have space for you to use. Good luck!

L.,

Hi there! I'm director of a nonprofit organization called MOMS (Making Our Milk Safe) and we have an office in Alameda, right next door to the main public library. I would love to speak with you about potentially hosting your classes at our office. I'm using the office during the day, but in the afternoons and evenings, it's open. The services you provide seem in line with our mission, so it's something I would feel comfortable sharing with our membership as well. Check out our website at www.safemilk.org, then send me a message if you think it would be a good fit.

Best regards,
M.

You might want to check into the Contra Costa Library system too as I think they rent rooms by an hourly rate all over the county.
