Ladies, been late 14 days-period was due on 20th January. I am 30 and the only tims my period was late was 11 years ago and that for only few days. Done around 15 tests until now all came back negative- Clearblue, First Response. Only one for some reason came positive.

Went to my GP for a check up. She did a physical check up and said that there is no ectopic pregnancy(Thanks God!) but that my womb is a bit big and to retest in a week time. (I live in the UK, here first you need to go and see the GP and once they think the situation needs investigated they will give the patient a letter to go further with it)

Any of you experienced this? What was the result?

I keep on having cramps, lower back pain, felt nausea twice up to now- especially yesterday been quite bad.
We been trying to concieve for the past 6 months.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

My period came today 👀.
Looks like it was late due to stress and when it was meant to come 2 weeks ago,we went on holiday and in the same time also had some exams results coming though.
Still can't explain the nausea tho.

Welcome to mamapedia, D. R.

Have you had unprotected sex in the last 45 days?
How old are you?
Your doctor said your uterus was enlarged but not pregnant? How did they determine that? With a blood test?

You could have fibroids.
There could be any number of things going on. Wait the week out and go back to the doctor if nothing has changed.

It's good you've seen a doctor.
Follow your doctors advice.
Fibroid s are one possibility, they are fairly common and generally nothing to worry about.
There are other things that can throw your hormones off too.

My Dr told me to wait a week and take another pregnancy test. And to call her with the results. I got a period first. But was also not trying to get pregnant, I was preventing it.
If you had a positive you could be pregnant. Just follow your Drs advice and retest in a week. It sounds like your dr is on top of this and knows what to do. Trust them.

A lot of times, women do not have the dates correct or their cycles will have changed when they are trying to conceive - and they will go from being super regular to irregular, due to stress. So their dates will be a little off.

Knowing this, doctors will say come back and we'll test again in a week. By then, you'll either have gotten your period, or you'll test positive.

If you've tested every day since you thought you would get it and today you finally tested positive, then likely your hormone traces were too low to be picked up. You could test again tomorrow (should be a more darker line etc.) or just wait till you go in (that's what I would probably do, to be sure and not drive yourself nuts).

It's hard to say. I hope you are :)

You mean you only see an OBGYN once you are pregnant (confirmed) is that it? Hopefully that will be the case soon. Best to you

Why haven't you seen your Ob/Gyn.... most especially if you are trying to conceive.

You could be under stress that can cause your period to be late. The symptoms you are having are also PMS symptoms. As women get older their cycle changes. There many, many reasons for what you are experiencing. Pregnancy is just one of them.

It's entirely possible that this is something completely unrelated like a urinary tract infection. I'm just saying, many things can feel like menstrual cramps, and many things can cause lower back pain.

The most important thing for you to do is try to get your mind off of it unless your symptoms change. If they do not change, follow your doctor's instructions. If they do change, call your doctor and see what she says. But really try not to focus on it too much. Extra stress isn't going to help you.
