Pregnant but No Symptoms

I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have no symptoms other than a positive pregnancy test (actually 3).
Anyone else have this happen? We have other children. I hope it does not mean the baby will not come to term.

Normally at 5 weeks I throw up and get real tired.

What can I do next?

I have 2 healthy children. Never got sick with either one of them. Only way I knew was because I took the test.

I have had 7 children and each pregnancy was different. I never got morning sickness, but with my first son was really sick to my stomach if I didn't eat. With my last baby I got so tired that I couldn't function sometimes without a nap. It got to where I could fall asleep if I just sat down for a few minutes during the day. I think that each pregnancy that you have is different and it really doesn't mean that anything is wrong with the baby. If you are really concerned put a call into your OB and see what they have to say. Congrats on the upcoming baby and good luck.

I have 2 healthy kids (16 months and 3 years)
I am one of the lucky ones who never got sick!
I don't know what is morning sickness, back pain (at least during pregnancy), getting up in the middle of the night to pee... My friends and relatives told me that easy pregnancy means hard labor: FALSE. My two labors were just normal (around 12 hours each, smooth enough I got through without medication). I'm sometimes afraid that my 3rd one will be a nightmare!
In 9 months, my symptoms have been mainly:
- a growing belly (and for the second one also growing hips and bottom),
- growing feet (up 3 sizes, and I'm still 1 size bigger than before babies),
- growing breast (I didn't complain of that)
- some periods of intense fatigue (I would sleep all day)
- other periods of intense activity/energy

So, don't worry. Being sick is not a proof of healthy pregnancy and not being sick is a blessing, not a curse. It doesn't mean something terrible will happen. Relax and enjoy!

I had some fatigue at the beginning of both of my pregnancies, but I didn't ever get sick. Had fairly easy pregnancies with both children. My first child was delivered two weeks early, I had pre-eclampsia my last month and they could not give me the meds I needed since I was still pregnant, but he was a very healthy baby boy. My second child was full term with no complications. Every pregnancy is different so I would not worry too much.

I personally don't start feeling sick until the 8thish week. I don't think this is any kind of sign or indication.

I've only had one child so not much to compare to but I didn't have symptoms until about 12 weeks other than tender boobies.

HI! Every pregnancy is different and you should not borrow trouble. I didn't get sick at all with my first two and then my third one kicked my behind in more ways than one!! Have you been to the Doctor yet? Get that appointment!! Congrats and best wishes.

I was 12 weeks pregnant with my son before I found out. I had no symptoms at all throughout the entire pregnancy. I didn't get sick with my daughter until I was 6 weeks along. I hear that it's very common not to get sick until 6-8 weeks. Good luck and congratulations!

I had none of the typical symptoms with my pregnancy, and now I have a very healthy 4 month old boy. He was 2 days past his due date, and 8lbs and 22 in. No health problems since. Sometimes you just get lucky! Don't ruin it by worring! Good luck and Congrats!

Lucky you! ;)

My second pregnancy was much more enjoyable than my first. The first time around I couldn't stop throwing up. With my second, I felt great. Sometimes the universe throws you a bone. Enjoy it!

I was severely sick with my boys and hardly sick at all with my daughter. I have a friend who honestly did not know she was expecting until she was 5 months along, it was her first. She was never sick at all. Besides you may be hit with a barrel full of symptoms tomorrow. I was not sick with my first till 6 weeks and it hit all at once. One day I felt fine, the next day I could not keep anything down. My second son I was also about 6 weeks maybe 7 before it hit, but it was not quite as severe but bad enough. With my daughter, I remember my mouth started water and I felt bloated at 4 weeks, but I only remember being nauseated about 3 times during the first 12 weeks. I symptom that comes with every pregnancy with me is a that my mouth starts watering non-stop and I swallow and lot of air to keep from drooling which causes the bloating. I never have done this outside of pregnancy. We my daughter, this started even before I had missed my cycle.

Anyway, don't worry needlessly. You many not have any symptoms at all or they may come in a few days or weeks.
