Have any of you been pregnant with NO SYMPTOMS WHATSOEVER? Meaning, you did not know you were pregnant due to the presence of symptoms... you only found out due to having missed your period and subsequently tested positive...

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

LOLOL Theresa N!! I'm not - not that I know of, anyhow... My cousin is thinking she might be (too early to test - but now her symptoms are gone), and I was just wondering!

Yes. No symptoms for me for pregnancy #2. I just found out a month ago that I was 22 weeks pregnant! We tried and tried for baby #2 and was told by doctors I was in early menopause at age 37 (premature ovarian failure). Had hot flashes and very irregular cycles, so when I skipped a couple of periods, I just thought, "this is the beginning of the end" of my menses. I have been off the pill for 6 years. Well, I started gaining some weight while I was trying to lose for a cruise we were going on, and I got concerned and went to my regular doctor who sent me for an ultrasound that day, and lo and behold, there was a baby growing in there! The tech said I was more than halfway through and it was a boy! I was in such shock, I just burst into tears. The poor tech kept telling me, "get ahold of yourself!"
So, here I am at age 43, 27 weeks pregnant now and am very happy to experience this again, when I thought it would not happen for us. I had no symptoms all summer, and we were travelling and going to theme parks in the heat, and running here and there. It is just amazing to me and I feel I found out this way for a reason. I was past the part of being offered the scary tests. A level 2 ultrasound has detected no abnormalities, and I feel good. I wasn't planning on doing this at this age, but I know I can handle it and my 7 1/2 year old son is so excited to have a baby brother.

Yes! It wasn't until I missed my period that I had a clue. In the first trimester I was a little more tired and would have to have small snacks on a regular basis or I would get crazed. But the first month...nothing.

Without a positive test, I would not have known. After a while, I would get a little nauseated if I went too long without eating. that's it. I don't even remember being very tired, although that was almost 4 year ago. I remember thinking pregnancy wasn't very exciting....until she started moving!

I found out that I was pregnant with my third child at 16 and 1/2 weeks.

After a difficult second pregnancy that happened after five rounds of Clomid and an emergency delivery with some long-term complications, I did not think I could get pregnant again.

I even went in for my routine pap smear and the doctor did not recognize that I was pregnant early on.

It was not until I noticed that I was gaining weight right under my breasts and it was hard that I thought to myself, "Perhaps I am pregnant". A home pregnancy test was positive and confirmed in the doctor's office.

She is now a happy, healthy 14 month old!

My first son, I was 4 months along before I knew I was pregnant, lol! I was 20 and had no clue about my body. I went to the doctor because I felt something in my stomach and I thought I had a tumor, lol! Nope, just 4 months pregnant with my first child! Had a great pregnancy with barely a symptom. Now the rest were crappy, but such is life, lol.

No, I have had pregnancy symptoms both times I have been pregnant. With my first pregnancy, I had terrible morning sickness from week 6 - week 36. With my second pregnancy (I am 5 weeks currently) I have had increased acne, nausea, and breast tenderness. I "felt" pregnant, which is why I took the pregnancy test - which ended up positive. I know that pregnancy symptoms vary from woman to woman, as well as from pregnancy to pregnancy.

I always had symptoms but there is a show on TLC (I think) that is about woman who didn't know they were pregnant until it was time to deliver the baby.

Yes, with my first child I had no symptoms, but because we were trying I took a test on my "date" and it was positive. but had I not been trying yes a missed period would have been my only clue.

I had symptoms very early on with all 3. They were VERY different with each one though. The first one I was sick from the minute I became pregnant (basically) until the moment she was born (literally - even sick throughout labor and pushing). My second I was constantly dizzy. They tested for everything including pregnancy and everything was negative. But he is 5 now :). And with the 3rd, it was mostly increased senses. And a dream from a friend.

I had no symptoms except for a missed period and a + pregnancy test. My symptoms came later, like 8-9 weeks!
Good luck!

I never missed a period, no other obvious symptoms either, but had an odd suspicion due to an off hand comment my OBGYN mother made. A woman who's been pregnant has different colored areola's then a woman who hasn't been. Mine were beginning to darken and were larger, but I thought it was just my usual "winter'weight" I took a test or two, but they were negative so I just pushed it aside. It wasn't until I needed to have my yearly check up and my BC renewed that we found out. By then my stomach had firmed up (a baby bump) and when I told the doctor and he mentioned the "T" word. Had an ultrasound planned, but just in case had a blood test. Blood came back positive, at 5 weeks the pregnancy hormone levels out, so we were told I was 5 weeks along. Got to the ultrasound and there was a very recognizable baby! I wasn't 5 weeks, I was 5 months! I just laughed, that "OMG now what" nervous laugh. My husband turned white.

We found out in April of '06, had planned to marry that up coming Sept., but had to move things up to that May, Naomi was born that August '06! She was wanted and planned for, but apparently she had her own plans.
