Pregnancy Symptons Maybe

A lot depends on how long ago "awhile ago" was! I don't remember feeling baby move before the 4th or 5th month, and then it wasn't a sharp, "kicking' pain, it was a "fluttery" feeling, like maybe he was turning somersaults or rolling over (I wasn't big enough to show at that point, so he could easily have done that). I do remember odd little sharp pains now and again, my doc said that was the ligaments of the uterus stretching.

Consider, too, when you had your last period--though some moms have periiods through the first couple months.

Definitely go have a pregnancy test done, and for the moment, act as though you are pregnant (with respect to eating healthy, no smoking etc).

Could be anything, including your mind playing tricks on you. I swear I was pregnant, all the signs but I wasn't.

The dollar store has pregnancy tests near the register. Go buy one.

Definitely no baby movement....that happens at 4+ months of pregnancy. It could be gas or indigestion bubbles or your body adjusting to not having the IUD in. When I had my IUD taken out I had a few weeks to a month of odd sensations (especially around my period time). Anything from side aches to cramps to a hard sensation or feeling in my abdomen. If you are worried about pregnancy take a test.

It could have been ovulation. I feel it every month, sometimes it's quite painful. You would feel it near your hip bone. Unless you are several months along you would not feel baby movement.

Buy a pregnancy test at the dollar store for a buck. They work just as well as the name brand tests. Symptoms are very unreliable. Best wishes! R., midwife mom of 3

When you say a while ago, does that mean 1-2wks, 1mth. You had the iud taken out after have sex so you were still protected from what I am reading.
If it has only been a short period, it could be your system going back to normal after taking the IUD out. You wouldn't feel any movement from a baby until I would say close to 3-4mths. That would be flutters in the tummy, a feeling of kicking or poking or just moving around. If you are that concerned have a pregnancy done by home test or see your Dr. They can also fine out by urine sample which is the same as a home test.
Take care, look after yourself (first priority) just in case. Try and go by your last period and if your close to the next one, see if you get a period or not.
If not then its time for the test!!
