Pregnancy Nausea/ Heaving Not Responding to Medicine........

So, I am at 14 almost 15 weeks with first child. I have very nauseated since 6 wks forward. The vomitting has subsided, but I find myself dry heaving all day and until I go to bed. I have been trying to eat every two to three hours. I have tried to vary what I eat to see if a food is triggering it, but that doesn't seem to be it. I even heave with a full stomach. It is more annoying than anything else. Has anyone else experienced this? Chewing peppermint gum seems to help for about 30 minutes, but I TMJ, so I can't chew gum constantly all day long or it triggers jaw pain. I've tried ginger remedies and b6, unisom, etc. Phenergan stopped the vomitting by not the heaving and Zofran did nothing for either. It only seems to get better when I lay down and sleep......

What can I do next?

I did not get too bad while pregnant, but for some reason Saltines made me feel better when I felt weird! Try organic foods and maybe even some crackers. Simple things can help. I wouldn't load up on drugs.

Acupuncture.

I had BAD morning sickness and migraines with both pregnancies.
This is the ONLY thing that got rid of it.
It was per the suggestion of my OB/GYN.

Just one 1/2 hour session, and it was gone!
It is very relaxing and does not hurt.

I was in your same boat with my first pregnancy - nausea and heartburn the whole thing except for about 4 days. There was only 1 product that ever helped me. It is called "Mommy's Bliss". They used to sell it at Babies R Us - but I found it online and ordered it by the box. It worked WONDERS!
I wish you the best of luck!

Hi A.
I am nearly 12 weeks gone and I am suffering from severe sickness.
Nothing natural is helping but I am going to wait for another few weeks to see if it subsides before I consider medication.
I did a post on morning sickness and got some great replies if you want to have a look in my profile.
I hope it goes soon and I know how you feel.
All the best

You poor thing!!! I went through that with my first. I lived on the LifeSavers sour candies for the first and second trimester. Had a hard candy in my mouth the whole day everyday!! It was the only thing that helped me. Try that. Or the Altoids strong peppermint mints. It won't be as h*** o* you jaw as gum.

Hope you feel better soon!

I'm sorry you're feeling so bad. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I experienced the same symptoms and they never went away. I was sick from the very beginning and tried everything to relieve the nausea & vomitting....prescriptions, motion sickness bands, preggy pops, etc. Everyone kept telling me it would go away by 14 or 15 weeks. I had the date marked on my calendar, but I was so disappointed when the day came and went with no relief. I was miserable up until my due date. I hope this doesn't happen to you, but I've been told that sickness is a sign of a healthy baby. My son came on his own 2 weeks early & was perfectly healthy. Hang in there and keep focused on the amazing prize at the end. Hope you feel better soon.

You may want to try Erbabviva baby's lip balm for morning sickness. Also preggie pops work well or even bands that put pressure on certain points on your wrist. They sell them at any drugstore. It is like acupressure. Hope that helps.

Sounds like you might be stuck with this until the baby is born. I wouldnt pump yourself and your baby full of any other drugs. Just something a prego has to deal with. Sorry.
