Ok i was 7 weeks pregnant but the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks the dr. said it was a viable pregnancy so i had a d&c 3 weeks ago. but the past two days i have been feeling the same symptoms i did when i was pregnant before. Could it be possible that i am pregnant again or could it be from my hormones? I would also like to know if anyone else has experienced this.

What can I do next?

Did you have sex after your D&C??? I assume so. Yes you can get pregnant.

I had a situation almost exactly like yours.
Mine was, at 6 weeks pregnant, I miscarried. The sonogram said the baby was only 5 weeks gestation. And then there was no heartbeat and the egg sac was empty. I had a D&C.

My Doctor said... to wait 3 months, before getting pregnant/being pregnant again. For the body/uterus to heal and to resume regular cycles etc..
After the D&C of course, NO sex was advised... because if you are still bleeding and healing you can get an infection etc. and the body simply is not healed yet.

Ultimately, you need to ask your Doctor.
Did you have a follow-up after the D&C? I did... but that is my Doctor's normal routine. He always has a follow-up appointment that you go to.

all the best,
Susan

After my last d&c it took a long time for my levels to go down. (I was tested over a week after and my hcg was still in the 900's) However, it is also possible you could have gotten pregnant in that time. Sometimes the surgery can make your body a little wacky so it's hard to tell if/when you're ovulating so anything is possible! You could try a pregnancy test but if it came up positive you wouldn't know if it was lingering hcg from your last pregnancy or you are newly pregnant again. Either way... if it was me, I would wait a week or two, see how things go and if you're still feeling pregnant, see your doctor. Either way - best of luck!

After I had my miscarariage, it took about 2 1/2 weeks for my levels to finally go back down to normal. And all that time I had pregnancy-like symtoms. However, I did not have a D & C so maybe that's why. I do know that it is very easy to get pregnant after having a miscarriage so you very well could be pregnant if you had unprotected sex since the D & C. Did you have your leels checked to make sure they went all the way down? It's very important to make sure they do before conceiving again. Either way, I would call the doc and get a blood test.

I lost a pregnancy and six weeks and conceived again a few weeks later, much to my shock! I didn't start to feel pregnant for quite a while, but when I missed my next period I took a test and sure enough I was pregnant. We needed to do an ultrasound to date the pregnancy since it was so close to the miscarriage. Good luck!

I had a d&c after miscarriage at 10weeks. About a month and a half later I found out I was pregnant again. Take a preg. test and follow up w/your dr. to make sure. Good Luck!

I had 3 d&c's and after no.2 I got pregnant with in a few weeks ( I urned 40 the day after she was born) so even maternal age was not a factor.
FYI - you may get false readings ontest becasue you still have the horomones. Definately check with your doctor.
