Can anyone recomend a good pre-school in the Chester area?
The Dogwood School is amazing. My son went there and my daughter will begin there in September. It is a wonderful nuturing enviroment with a mix of Waldorf and Montessouri teaching methods. The teachers are wonderful as is the director who is a mother of young children as well.
My son goes to Suburban Hills in Chester, and although he just started a couple of weeks ago in the 2 1/2 year old class, we are very pleased so far. We went there at the recommendation of my sister-in-law, whose son attends and has been attending for 2 years, and she loves it.
Little Lambs pre-school meets in the Grace Bible Chapel building. I've heard excellent things about them from several friends.
We have been very pleased with our experience at Suburban Hills School on Oakdale Rd...I have known several people who have had children there for years and who speak very highly of their programs. It is a very personal setting--the staff has been extremely friendly and supportive and i can't say enough about them. They have 2 1/2 years through kindergarten...please let me know if you have any other questions about them!
My sons went to The Dogwood School on Dogwood Dr. They were happy and their minds and spirits were nourished in this environment. I'm a first grade teacher. My principal has her grandchildren in the school right now and finds it just as wonderful as my family did. Check it out.
