Hi Guys
We will be moving into the area of Westfield/Fanwood this week and I am hoping to find my daughter who is 4 and a half a pre-k. It is very short notice but I am hoping to be able to find a reliable, fun and academic school for her.
Also if anyone knows of any mommie and me or moms day out classes for my two year old son.
We are looking forward to learning and discovering our new neighborhoods and would love to find the right place.
thank you so much
V.

Hi and Welcome.
I'm in Edison so I can't recommend any pre-k schools close to you since the ones I use are a bit out of the way. However, there are many mommy and me classes offered at many gymnastics places, dance schools, THE LITTLE GYM, etc. I'm currently looking into a class for me and my 3 yr. old at EASTERN GYMNASTICS in Cranford which is close to you. They have a website which may help you out and it's a nice facility. My older children (ages 8 and 10) also take gymnastic classes there as well. Friendly staff too. I think THE LITTLE GYM is located in Westfield if I'm not mistaken and you might have luck with that as well. Good Luck.

Hi!

I would definitely check out Rainbow Academy in Cranford. www.rainbowacademy.com

They have a wonderful program which covers all core areas math, language, science, social and have their own reding readiness program, as well as teaching basic sings for Sign Language and Spanish. They also have Parentview so you can watch her at home on the Internet.

Between the warm and loving people there and the great program you should be very happy there.

Good luck!
B.

Hey,

Welcome to the area. My name is K., I'm a 34 year old wife and mother of a wonderful 3 1/2 year old little girl named Kaitlyn. We started Kate in preschool (in Westfield) last year and she loves it there! She goes to Noah's Ark Preschool, 836 Mountain Ave., Westfield ###-###-####. The director is Kim Keich, she is great with the kids, they all love her -- all the teachers are really great! They are taking registrations now for Sept., classes start Sept 5th.

I hope this helps, good luck!

Hi V.,

I live in Westfield. My son went to the Presbyterian Kindergarten and Nursery School in Westfield which I loved. However, some pre-schools will be full at this late time but it does not hurt to call because some times openings pop up late in the summer. I would also suggest St. Paul's in Westfield, Wesley Hall, the Westfield Y and the co-op. There are 2 moms day out classes that I know of Tops(Time Out For Parents) at the Presbyterian and Mother's Morning Out. Good Luck!

Hi,
My daughter is going to be four and she goes to the Westfield Cooperative Nursery School in Westfield. The address is 125 Elmer St ###-###-####). Also I am the vice president for the Westfield Welcome club. We are a club for new women in the area. We plan activities for the ladies and also for the kids. If you like I can send you more info on us. Good luck with finding a school for your daughter.
