My daughter is 15 months old and just got into size 6 diapers, she is not ready to be potty trained yet but i am hoping to start within the next month, my question is, what would i do after she out grows the size 6 if she is not potty trained by then or pretty much trained, pull ups are so much more expensive then diapers to use as them.

EDIT: its becuase she is so tall at 12 months she was 26 lbs and 32 inches i think, she is in a size 3t clothes, she is a bigger kid

EDIT 2: pampers break her out she is allergic to something in them

EDIT 3: I couldnt use clothe diapers, they are a bigger pain in my opinion then what is worth using them,

What can I do next?

My son outgrew diapers before a year old (he was over 3 feet tall at age 2). We switched to pullups... and yeah. They're expensive. :P

are you sure she is a size 6 diaper?
My son, is 3.5 years old, about 43 inches tall, and about 41 pounds, and he wears a size 6 diaper.

Pampers, makes a size 7 diaper.
I have seen it at Safeway, or Walmart or online.

most kids gain more in height than weight after theay are 1 year old.. so your daughter may continue to grow and still fit in the same diaper.

My son is 3 31 pounds, 38 or 39 inches and fits in a size 5.. it does depend on how the childs is built my kids are tall and very thin.

huggies run small.. pampers are bigger.. maybe she can wear luvs?/

yes pullups are more expensive but you really dont need many diapers per day.. at 2 mine get changed morning noon and bedtime (unless they poop which is changed immediately.)

My son was the same way. He outgrew the size 6 diaper and I had him pull ups (overnight ones) for 18 months until he finally got potty trained at nearly 4. We still use Goodnights at night. You could see of cloth diapers are an option.

My daughter is 2 1/2 yrs old and about 36" tall and 31lbs and is only wearing a size 5 diaper.

Can I ask how big your daughter that she is wearing a size 6 diaper at age 15 months? When my son was 3 1/2 yrs old he was wearing a size 6, before finally getting potty trained.

I don't know many toddlers that are potty trained before 1 1/2 yrs old or even 2yrs old....but I wish I was that lucky...

I hope you are able to find the size 7 diapers if it comes to that!

your daughter is about the same size as mine, although mine is a little older. (she is 26lbs and 34 in.) I actually use a Sam's Club Brand called Members Mark, in size 4's. They are hypo allergenic and unscented. (my daughter is sensitive to pampers too) You might want to look into some "off brand" diapers, if your little one isn't quite ready for the potty yet.

I have a friend with a large child, as well. Her daughter is 2 and just outgrew the largest pull-up size. I know that she is looking into cloth diapers, because there are several brands that come very large. I can ask my friend the brand she is using if you're interested.

My son is a big kid too. He was in a size 6 diaper for a long time, maybe about a year or so. Regardless, he wore them much longer than with any other size. After that, we used pull-ups (the various brands that had the velcro on the side, as not all do.) Just keep in mind that the pull-ups are designed for potty training and catching accidents. They will leak if you aren't careful. Thankfully he started using the potty shortly after his 3rd b-day, as I don't know what we would do. (He's in a 5t/5 and going through a growth spurt.) Who knows, maybe you are worrying about something that will never happen ;)

You may want to reconsider the cloth diapers. I am CD'ing my son and the only thing that it has 'added' is an extra load of laundry every other day. As far as thinking poo diapers would be a problem they have flushable inserts you can put in the diaper to catch poo and just toss in the toilet after. Plus after you are done w/ them you can sell them and get some of your $ back.
Other then what has been suggested here I dont know what to tell you if none of these suggestions appeal to you. I hope you find something that works though.

hmm...my son was 36 inches and 30 pounds at 2-years-old and only wore a size 3!! Maybe you're just expecting them to fit differently than they really do?

We're about the only country that waits "until the child shows signs of readiness". It's really kinda weird. Most countries start when the child can sit on the pot. Take your daughter to the potty every time you go, get her interested in sitting on the potty, take her first thing in the morning, before and after naps, before and after meals, and before bed.
There are books about training babies and toddlers, look for something at the library or half-price book stores.
Don't let people tell you it's too early, it's not.
