I am using my friends site to ask this question. My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and she is potty trained during the day but I was wondering how to work it in so that she is potty trained all day. This is my first go around with this. Any info would help me out.

I'm 23 years old. Single mom to one beautiful daughter Alexandria.

Thanks,
Lauren

When my daughter was potty trained she still wore diapers at night. She did for awhile (maybe 6 months or less). Just so I knew she wouldn't have an accident. When she didn't pee all night and would get up if she needed to go - was when I knew it was safe for her to wear panties at night too.
Hope this helps! Sydne

It took my daughter longer to potty train at night. We just used pull-ups at bed time and that worked until she was ready. I would just give her some time and you can help things by making sure she doesn't drink a lot before bedtime and having her go potty right before she gets into bed.

Lauren,
Hello. I agree with the other posts that you can't train at night. It's when their body is ready or not. We used pull-ups at night (called them night time diapers, but they had that pull up factor like underwear) until she was dry for 3 weeks every morning. Then we moved to underwear at night too. I would start getting into the habit of using the potty right before bed now and that helps when her body is ready to not go all night. My daughter use to be soaked in her night time pull up for a long time, but then all of a sudden she started becoming dry (acutally closer to age 3 for us). Your daughter will get there too, it just might take a little longer than you'd like. Best of luck.

Hello Lauren,

I had the same thing going on a while back...I noticed that my little girl was waking up dry for about 2 weeks...I let her wear her big girl panties all night after that, so has only had a few nights where she's woke up wet...So I would say if she's waking up in the mornings for a week or 2 try the panties one night what...I hope this helps some...I'm about 20 mins outside of Alexandria and a single my of a 4 yr old little girl...
