You should try a Retinol cream. I suggest something that has the % listed. I would suggest trying a product called FirmX that can be purchased on Amazon. It's priced very reasonable and lasts forever. It also comes in 3 different levels so you can start with a light level if needed. It works nice and has more benefits for you than making your pores smaller. Firms up, and really smooths your face overall, helps with breakouts too if you have that. Another suggestions would be a Glycolic acid peel. That's something else that you can get over the counter and at different levels. Anywhere from 10 to 70 %. Again look at Amazon. The reviews are an awesome way to check out how the products work. I started with 35% twice a week with the peels. I just finished my 4th peel and I'm very impressed with the results. My face is so smooth and the pores are much smaller and alot less oily. I got it for a great price and again it will last forever. Both work the same way but the peels are more aggressive and work faster than the Retinol.
And while your on Amazon you might want to check out a cool little face cloth called Micropeel cloths by Claroderm. They work and they rock! :) No soap needed.
I've suffered with large pores and an oily completion for ever and feel like I've tried it all on the shelves. Good side to large pores? We age alot better than people that have dry thin skin. ")
Best Regards,
C.

best thing I ever bought for my face: the Mia by Carisonic, same manufacturer as the rotating toothbrush that uses sonic waves. It is gentle, one minute, 2x a day. Reduced breakouts completely, even during my period and my skin feels smooth, like my three year old daughter's! I swear by it. Pricey, but so worth it to love my skin once again. About $145, look online to find good deals.

I have/had large pores and oily skin...I really like from Mario Tricoci a line called Natures Alternative. I use the face cleanser, about $23 and the moisturizer at night,(more pricey) In between to save money I use neutrogena creame cleanser but I really noticed a difference w/the face wash on my pores. I have used toners and really don't see a huge difference although I do use witchhazel in a spray bottle because it is cheap and suppose to be good for skin. Mario's is great about giving you samples to try stuff...they also have a mud mask I like to use 1 week. Stop in and get some FREE samples!!good luck, large pores suck!

Votre Vu is a new French skin care company to the US (products have previously been used in exclusive European spas and salons) and they have some fabulous products that can help with your issue. A good skin care regime for your skin type in addition to our trouble spot treatment is what I would recommend. Check out my website, www.votrevu.com/sallybriar and let me know if you have any questions.

Please view my web page and see our natural products that can be ordered on-line and delivered straight to your door. I would suggest our exfoliant cleanser and pore reducing toner to start. AM/PM moisturizer would be great. Our products are manufactured by the same company that produces MAC and Estee Lauder

I like witch hazel as a toner, it's simple and very cheap. not sure that's what will do the trick for you but it depends on what you're trying to achieve...
