I can really only guess, as I don't know your child, but I would start potty training. My daughter did something similiar. She would have a BM and then pull her diaper off and throw it at me. I started potty training her thinking if she is big enough to do that then she is big enough to potty train. It worked with huge success. I would take her and buy her all the potty stuff (underwear, potty seat, step stool etc.) and have at it and see where that takes you. Good luck!

My son did the same thing. It was terrible. What I finally did was I used moving tape and taped his shirt to his pants really well before I layed him down. It worked. Then he couldn't get into his diaper. I just tucked his shirt in and then taped the heck out of it. It might sound bad but it's better than cleaning up after the nap!

My girl friend had the same problem with her son. My 15 year old daughter came up with this. Cut the feet off of zipper pj's and then put the pj's on backwards (with zipper in back). It worked perfectly, he wasn't able to unzip them.

My son does this also!! I have two older daughters who never did and I thought maybe it was a boy thing! LOL I guess not. He also only goes during a nap, and usually I try to use the moniter to hear as soon as he wakes up. I don't really have any advive, but I just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone. I don't know if maybe it's just uncomfortable and they are trying to clean them selves...I don't know! He is also very wierd in that he will not poop in a wet diaper, only a clean one, has been this way since about 6months old. Maybe try putting her on the potty and make grunting noises. My boy thinks this is funny and does it back, sometimes it makes him go!! Good luck I'm sure it will all make a good story for when she is older!!
