PMS Symptoms or Pregnancy Symptoms?

How many of you have experienced what you thought was PMS, but really early pregnancy symptoms? I really only had these symptoms with one of my pregnancies. I was so sure my period was going to start, but my mom convinced me to try testing when I was only 1 day late, and I was actually pregnant. With the other two, I really didn't feel like my period was going to start.

My period is 2 days late. My skin is broken out (which doesn't happen often for me with PMS, but does with pregnancy) my breasts are very sore (which happens with PMS some of the time), I have cramps, and a little bit of clear discharge.

I feel like I'm going to start any minute, but I remember feeling that way with my second pregnancy too. I do not want to take a test yet. I'm going to wait at least 2 more days if it doesn't come by then. I was just interested to see how many people have been fooled by their PMS symptoms.

What can I do next?

i don't pay very close attention to my cycle, but it was about time for my period, and then i had pretty strong pms (but nothing extraordinary, except my boobs felt really hot in addition to achy). almost a week later, when my period still hadn't arrived, took a test (absolutely did not expect to be pregnant) and yep! i had even joked with my husband that santa was bringing my period for christmas (the really icky cramps and hot boobs were on christmas eve), but nope, i got something way better! if you're really regular and are 2 days late, i'd probably encourage you to take the test (but i'm impatient like that). :)

I always think my pms is pregnancy ( at least when I'm trying to get pregnant). It never fails that the month I have no symptoms and don't "feel" pregnant is the month I'm pregnant.

The older I get, the more my PMS symptoms get worse, but I never think I'm pregnant though (darn near impossible at this point).

I was the same way. I actually took the test 3-4 days before my period was due to start. We had literally just started trying like 3 weeks earlier, so I was shocked to get a positive. I definitely felt like I was going to get my period, but took a test just for fun. It was the first time for us trying, so I was excited!

If you actually are two days late, you could take the test. You know, if you get impatient waiting ;)
