I have had the worst experience with the dentist I chose for my daughter. Can you please refer me someone really good with kids and who honors the ALL KIDS/ Medicaid card? My daughter is 5 years old and scared of doctors. Today she got really scared of this dentist we went to. He was really non professional when it comes to small kids. Two kids before us were screaming, so this probably didn't help my daughter. And the office? I have never seen such a filth in a doctors office in my life. Please if you know someone you could recommend let me know. Thank You All!
M.

I got to Wee Care Pediatric Dentistry in Park Ridge. Not sure if they take Medicaid. Dr. Denise is really great with kids and the office is very kid friendly.

I don't know where you live, but there is a great dentist in Hanover Park which takes medicaid. I believe it is Hanover Park dental clinic. My friend took her son there and had a good experience. I will try and find the exact phone number for you.

Don't know how far this is from you, but we see a great dentist in Elgin.

Try Beacon Hill Dental. They are WONDERFUL with kids and will even let them come in and see/play with the tools, etc before a cleaning if necessary to calm them down and show them it's okay. They're very gentle too and they have an orthodontist on staff every Friday in the same location.

My daughter had several bad experiences with dentists before we found these folks and she is VERY cooperative now and is not the least bit afraid. They explain everything one slow step at a time.
I actually had a root canal here and several cleanings and I'll have to say it is the most pain-free dental experience with them that I have ever had in my LIFE.

Editing to add that I'm not sure if they take your dental plan, but if not, I bet they could refer to someone great who does.
