Hi S.,

I live in Western Springs and am looking to get involved in the Moms club. My son is six months old. There are some classes you could take your son to in the area which are always great for meeting other mothers.

Wiggleworms is held at the Presbyterian Church in Western Springs, register for classes at Old Town School of Folk Music. The LaGrange library has story time for young kids and the LaGrange park district has numerous classes for young children.

I use to do stroller strides at the park district of LaGrange.I met a lot of friendly people. They have a class currently that you can bring your little one with you to exercise and there is a playgroup component to the class.I'm not sure of the class name but the instrutor is Chris Burnett. Welcome to the area!

Hi S.,
Welcome to the area. You might check out the MOMS Club of LaGrange Park, serving LaGrange, LaGrange Park and Brookfield. It is a great group of young and fun stay at home moms, and many of them have also moved from the city. Email ____@____.com for more information.

We take a Kindermusik class in La Grange - always a great place to meet people. My daughter is also 18 months. If you look at the Kindermusik website, our instructor is Joan Arnold.

I second the recommendation for MOMS Club of LaGrange Park. They do SO much each month, from all ages activities, to those geared toward specific age groups (infant/crawlers, toddlers, preschoolers, etc.), to Moms night out, to couples night out... It's a great group and you can pick and choose which activities you want to go to throughout the month. It's a great way for not only your child to interact with other children, but also to get some much needed adult interaction!
