I have a wonderful 2 1/2 yr old little girl... I am looking for a playgroup for her and am interested in meeting other moms in my area. My daughter does go to daycare so she has lots of play time with kids her own age but outside of "school" we do not know any children her age. Does anyone live in the Apopka/Altamonte area and know of any playgroups.

We are currently in a playgroup and we love it. I started out in different playgroup, but there were some issues. The group I am in now (http://sahm.meetup.com/2577/) is great and everyone is so nice.
There is a group with mostly 2 year olds that meets on Thursday mornings in Altamonte Springs. You can email ____@____.com for more information. Hmm. . I just reread your post. I haven't heard of any playgroups that meeting in the evening or weekends. (except for mothers' nite out) Would like to if you hear of anything!
Go to www.meetup.com and search under playgroups or mom groups and you can search for them in your area. There are a ton!
