Planter's Wort on 4 Year Olds Foot

My son has had a planter's wort on his foot for quite awhile now and it keeps growing it seems. His doctor said that they normally don't freeze them off for kids this young because they have seen it tends to come back and come back stronger.

For those of you with young kids, what have you done for these worts?

What can I do next?

I had the same thing when I was a teen and my dad used some OTC medicine. It took a while but it worked. Unfortunately, I did not tell my dad about the wart for quite some time and by the time he noticed that I was not walking on my heel, the wart had grown to dime size and started sprouting little baby warts around its border. I was young and naive then and feared what the procedure would be to get rid of it. The OTC stuff did not hurt at all :0)

Good luck!

We treated my son's with the over the counter pad stuff. The key was scraping off the dead tissue as the wart died off. It's really yucky, and it looks like strings of skin as the wart is coming out. You have to be diligent about keeping the wart remover pads on, cleaned and changed, and scraping that dead skin!
We've also had one frozen before. It took two procedures for it to work. Again, you need to scrape the dead skin as the wart works itself out of the foot.
Good luck! I know it's not fun.

Try Oregano Oil (found in healthfood stores or GNC) My mother in law put some on my daughters wart and it was gone within a week.

I had one that lasted quite a while. I was hurting so bad one night I woke my husband up to pray for me. I mixed some essential oils that just came to me and for the life of me I can't remember exactly which ones I used but probably the ones mentioned plus I think Frankincense. I soaked my foot every night for a week in warm water and a few drops of purification oil made up of Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus), lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), Melaleuca (Melaleuca alternifolia) lavandin (Lavandula x hybrida), and myrtle (Myrtus communis), from Young Living Essential Oils and put the mixture I made up on my the wort. It was gone in a week. Cinnamon oil, oregano, frankincense and lemon oil are all mentioned as helping to get rid of planter's worts. The oregano may burn so you might not want to put that on a 4 year old. I believe God healed mine through the use of the essential oils. Hope this helps.
