The picnic will be at the lake. I would appreciate any ideas like where to buy decorations, music and games.

Thank you very much!!!

Don't worry too much about decorations, just pick a "color theme" and get the papergoods and some balloons. Just a word of advice, unless you feel compelled to have paper tablecloths, avoid them outside! Tough to keep them on the tables and when someone spills, you toss them anyway!

Games/ Races to play in groups:
- water balloon toss
- egg on a spoon relay race
- fill the water jug relay race
- 3 legged race
- bubble gum blowing contest

etsy.com is great for decorations. i agree with the previous poster, a portable radio or laptop is fine for music, just be sure it isn't bothering other people outside trying to enjoy mother's day. games depends on the age group.

we need more info! What is your theme, what are you planning to do?

Decorations can be picked up at any Party City, etc. We find that just simple balloons, flowers, & family pictures work best.

Music...just take a portable player or Ipod dock. We've also been known to use laptops for this & combine it with a slideshow!

Games: hit Family Fun for excellent family-oriented games.
