We are heading to las vegas for a few days and was looking for fun, clean, family things to do. We have a 3 yr old and a baby. What can we do?

We've already got on the to do list:
The Shark reef at the manalay bay. (really cool) we've been here once.
The Lied's Childrens museam
The Ethal M Chocolate factory.

We've found these things to do, but are wonder if we missed anything fun, (preferably inexpensive) things to do.

What fun things have you guys done with children?

The weather is perfect here. You may want to consider taking a hike at Red Rock Canyon. It's just a 20 minute drive from the Strip, on the westside of Las Vegas. I think you can google it to get directions and information about their hiking trails.

You could drive out to Hoover Dam and take the tour. It's 35 miles from Las Vegas.

Go to the hotel Circus Circus and watch the free circus acts that go on all day long.

Go to the M&M store (on the strip). It is very cool and huge!

Take the kids for rides on the monorail - they will love that!

Something NOT to do - don't even walk in the casinos, since they will be smokey. You don't want to expose your kids to second hand smoking.

Have fun!

The Mall at Caesars has an anamatronic show of the Fall of Atlantis that's free. I second MGM, there are lions there that are pretty cool. And the fountains at the Bellagio are awesome.

We also loved the Wax Museum at the Venitian, although it is not free.

The fountain show at the Bellagio is really neat (it's outdoors). MGM has a lion exhibit that is free. M&M store (about a block north of MGM, on the east side of the strip, if I recall) has lots to see, even if you don't buy anything.
And don't forget to take your picture at the Welcome To Las Vegas sign on the south end of the strip.

Las Vegas was one of 2 picks for Spring Break with my family. LA won out with the amusement parks but there were so many fun things to do in Vegas, that might be in our near future.

In addition to the excellent suggestions, below, here are a few more:
-The huge gold nugget in The Golden Nugget. Their pool is so cool to see...a clear tube shoots swimmers through the shark tank.
-The Fremont St Experience is every hour on the hour at night. Might be too late for little ones. A word of caution...lots of drunk people there. More than I've seen anywhere else in Vegas.
-The free Bellagio gardens. Spectacular!
-The candy store behind the Bellagio gardens. Coolest chocolate fountain EVER!
-Again, maybe too much for little ones, but the roller coaster at NYNY.
-Is there still a zoo exhibit at the Mirage? Would be a fee but the last time I checked there were a few white tigers on display in the casino...no charge.
-Pinball Hall of Fame

not sure when you are going or WHERE you are staying but if you didnt book your hotel and are going when you can swim, the Mandalay bay has an awesome pool...makes its own waves and the 3 year old will have a blast. Otherwise walking around the forum shops by cesears kills alot of time. they have that statue thing in the middle does a show....also go see Treasure Island pirate show, then Mirage volcano and then the bellagio water show is good for another hour....may be something to do at the end of evening before bath and bedtime.

I agree with all the suggestions that have been given. One other thing your 3 year old might like is to see the light show on old fremont street. Ask the receptionist at your hotel how to get there. It is close to the strip but at the very end of the strip. Fremont street is blocked off to vehicles and you walk in a cover area. Every so often (I don't know how often, maybe 15 or 30 mins) a laser show is displayed on the ceiling. It isn't very long but free and pretty fun to watch as the lights change colors and move around. Have a fun time in Vegas!

Momof3 basically said everything I was thinking! Circus circus is kid heaven! If it is still there they have a fabulous mexican restuarant called the blue iguana. It was yum and not expensive.

What time of the year will it be? MGM has a fun water park.
Also, many of the places have cool indoor shopping areas. The one in the venetian is nice to walk around, but also has the gondola rides.
