There are all kinds of places to go... how much do you want to spend... The Alamo, Riverwalk, Children's Museum, Fiesta Texas (Six Flags), the Caverns, San Antonio Zoo (it's so beautiful there)... there are all kinds of park and places to have fun even with a 3 year old... My kids loved the Zoo!

San Antonio zoo is really nice! Of course the Riverwalk. There is a Rainforest Cafe off the Riverwalk and the kids loved it when we went there for lunch. On street level above the Riverwalk there is also a Ripley's believe it or not

The Witte Museum has some fantastic activities for children. The grounds are lovely too. You can get a picnic lunch from Central Market which is just a few blocks away from the museum and enjoy it under one of the large trees on the grounds.

Where are you staying? The hotel we were in (Sea World Marriott) was so nice my kids never wanted to leave the pool. They had the most fun at the Zoo, Ripleys Believe it or Not, the Riverwalk, and of course Sea World. They also loved the wildlife drive through. They did not care for the Alamo, House of Wax, or being drug from store to store shopping! :)
