Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on a 2 year old birthday party for about 10 kids and their moms? In the Wheaton/GlenEllyn/Carol Stream/West suburbs area. Cheaper the better!

What can I do next?

McDonald's! The McDonald's in Carol Stream (with the indoor playland) does a fantastic job and the kids can run around like crazy people! Best part? Under $100 and you don't have to clean your house! WOO HOO!

Happy Birthday to your little one!

Hi K.,
Like SANDY said all those places are a better cost effective than chuckie E cheese or enchanted castle and oddsey world AND SAFARI LAND which cost about $15 per child and they take care of everything EXCEPT FOR THE CAKE. Or look into Mcdonalds that take care of EVERYTHING EVEN THE CAKE FOR ABOUT $15 PER KID.

iF THAT IS TOO MUCH AS SANDY SAID IN HER RESPONSE HER LIST OF PLACES IS CHEAP BUT SOMETHINGS YOU HAVE TO DO LIKE DECORATIONS,CAKE, CLEANING AND ETC.

MOST OF THESE PLACES DO HAVE A WEBSITE.
I THINK THE PARK DISTRICT IS CHEAPER IN YOUR AREA BUT ITS A LOT MORE WORK INVOLVED.

You could try Cosley zoo, Dupage Childrens Museum or something through one of the park districts. I'm not sure what your budget is or even is the costs are totally reasonable at these places, but I think all 3 would be good for a 2 year birthday party. Oh, one other...depending on time of year: Morton Arboretums' Childrens Garden. I hope this helps! Happy party planning

I've had my two granddaughters' birthday parties (ages 4 and 2) at Chuck E. Cheese, and if McDonalds truly is $15, then I'd go with Chuck E. Cheese any day. I paid $15.99 for each child for the "deluxe package", plus if I'd wanted souvenir cups I think it was another $1.00. The parties were both great - absolutely no setting up or cleaning up; entertainment included. I'm thinking we'll do it this way for as long as the girls are okay with it.

My daughter turns two in May and we were thinking about the Cosley Zoo. I'm not sure on the prices, but I cannot imagine it would be that expensive. Good luck!

We had our twins 2 year party at Pump it Up and everyone had a blast. I don't remember the price but I don't think it was all that bad. The YMCA in Glen Ellyn also has parties in their Kid Zone which is a bunch of tunnels and slides, my friend just had one there and was really pleased. I've also had parties at Odessey Fun World in Warrenville/Naperville. That may be a little more pricey. We are anticipating a gymnastics party at Ariel Gym right by Toys R Us in Downers. For 10 kids, I think it's about $150. I had my son's two year party at home with games and crafts and that was great too. Good Luck
