It's not exactly country but With Arms Wide Open by Creed. I cried when I was pregnant both times when I heard this song. Very appropriate. Search the lyrics and read them!

Alan Jackson had a song I think called "Remember When". It's about two people who fell in love and are reminiscing about the life they've shared together. It recounts when they first met, made love, had babies, and grow old together.

Just a thought- we don't/didn't have a "song"... have known each other for 15 years and married for over 8.

...AND he's a professional musician...

Personally, I think "the" song shoule be more about a feeling rather than a specific situation (baby on the way/love/wedding). I would say pick a classic: My Life (Beatles) or What a Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong). Our wedding song was What a Wonderful World, a classic that I still hear frequently when out and about in the world and it always brings a smile to my face, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. Congrats!

How about "Your Everything" by Keith Urban? It doesn't mention having a baby, but is a very appropriate wedding song. Definitely check out the lyric's. Our song was Annie's Song by John Denver. Even though we were both in our early twenties, we loved this older song! I think someone on here even mentioned it.
Good luck beginning your new life together! God Bless you and your family!

I love the song "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney! It really doesn't have anything to do with becoming parents, but I think it's a great song!

I was going to suggest the song by Carrie Underwood "All American Girl" but since you know it will be a boy, this song just doesn't fit, it's all about a girl. Take a listen to the song though because it is really cool.

Sit down separately and write your own song!

Then discuss it together and see what you can come up with.

Wow: haveing a child is what marriage is all about.

Congratulations

Marriage:
The first year will be the hardest.
The next 5 the second hardest.
If you make six years, remember each morning to look into the mirror and remind yourself not to take the other for granted.
What you will learn:
That marriage takes hard work.
That each has to give.
That you must take time out together and say I love you.
Saying I love you is not enough and that actions speak louder than words.

God Bless Good Luck

Wait, are you looking for a song that is about becoming parents to a baby boy, or does it have to be that as well as have a romantic undertone? If you are looking for one that has to do with parenting a baby boy, "Godspeed Little Man" by the Dixie Chicks is a great song. If you are looking for something that has to do with just the two of you, "I Know how the River Feels" by Diamond Rio is great, as well as Sammy Kershaw's "Love of my Life".

For our first dance, we used a song from the soundtrack of "Hope Floats". It's a duet with Bob Seger and Martina McBride. It's called "Chances Are". It just really told the story of me and my husband throughout the years.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, and congrats on your little man as well!

Not sure about a wedding song, but when I found out that i was having a boy (yeah), the song "Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)" by the Dixie Chicks was a MUST to hear every night! No matter how many times I heard it, the words brough tears to my eyes! It is a great song to concentrate on and calm yourself during labor as well. Look up the lyrics and you will see that it is perfect. Natalie Manes wrote it for her little boy. Another is "Lullaby", also by the Dixie Chicks. My son is 2.5 and I am still just as addicted to the Godspeed song today as I was when he was a soccer player in my belly! Good luck!

My song is Simple Things from Jim Brickman. Not country or about having a baby boy, but I love it.
