I was wondering if anyone knew of a good doggie daycare. I have a 8mo. old yorkie and i have started workin and my kids are in daycare and i just dont feel comfortable leaving him home alone and i would also like for him to interact with other dogs as well. So if anyone have any suggestions please let me know..Thanks

S., I know of a great doggy daycare at N.W. 67th between Classen Blvd. & Western, in Oklahoma City. It is called Canine Social Club and they do not crate dogs during the day. They have a half-acre lot for all day outdoor play. They also offer grooming and boarding. They have been in business five years strong and offer reasonable rates for all your needs. Their phone # is ###-###-####. They welcome all size dogs. One of the great things about a doggy daycare is that your pet gets to play & interact with other dogs, and they are pooped when they get home! Your pet will love it!

wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to get another small dog? they could keep each other company and you wouldn't have to drop off and pick up every day. the cost of another dog (especially a "free" one) would have to be less than daycare.

Sorry, I cannot help but in the economy we are in now that might be a business for someone to consider going into in an urban area. I do know in larger cities there are people who walk dogs for a fee so if your area has that service you might look into it and see if they would branch out.

I don't know where you are, but there is a great one in Fort Smith, AR. The website is ultimuttdogcare.com. The dogs get lots of exercize and interaction and are usually ready to be calm when you get them home.

You can start looking with your vet and local animal rescue groups. They will know who has been doing the best job.
