I am not part of a PET SITTING company. I do this on my own, in addition to my part time job because I love the babies that I take care of. I either have them at my house where they have free roam of the house or at yours. I have taken care of 3 different pets in the last month from mamapedia readers who would be happy to give me a reference. The last one stayed at my house for 2 weeks. She would come in and out of the doggie door, played with my dog, and would get walked every day at lunch and before and after work. They sleep with me, love with me and we just over all have a great time. I do know that there are a lot of good companies out there, and I know they do take great care of the pets that are in their charge. As I said I'm an individual who loves this and has been doing it for 5 years. I have been thru all the first aid training and actually worked for awhile for a pet sitting company and learned everything they could teach me. These people are very personable and friendly. They LOVE animals, do lots of work with the SPCA, and are very competitively priced. The most important thing I can say about them is they will love on your pet and give him/her attention while you're gone, not just come in, feed, let them out to do business, and go on their way to the next client's house.
