Hi,
We're moving to Downers Grove next month and will need a new pediatrician for my 2 year old. I would like someone local to Downers Grove and who is very patient with moms since I tend to have many questions about everything. Also someone who supports and is knowledgeable about breastfeeding since we're planning on number two and I plan to nurse him/her for the first year. Hours aren't really a big deal since I'm a SAHM so can make appointments at any time, however I really hate waiting forever at the doctor's office.
Any recommendations would be great!

We live in Downers, but go to Hinsdale Pediatrics. We LOVE Dr. Kathy Campbell, but the office has several doctors. Dr. Brophy is also an excellent doctor - we've seen her several times also.

He is very nice and the staff there is good. The office is well run, clean, well kept. I have never had to wait for an unreasonable amount of time. When we first starting going there, we saw Dr. Christine Ibrahim. I am a huge fan of hers, but she relocated her practice to Elmhurst, which isn't far, but now that the boys are getting older it is nice for them to have a male doctor. I hope you enjoy living in Downers Grove--we are very happy there!

My son (7yrs) and daughter (5yrs) have been seeing her since they were born. Her office is right across from Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital on Highland Ave. We like her!

We go to DuPage Pediatrics in Darien. We see Dr. Gardner, and he's always been great with the kids.
We've also seen Dr. Hall, Dr. Davis, and Dr. Kelly, and I'm quite happy with all of them. Dr. Lynch I'll see in a pinch, but he has the bedside manner of a hippo. I refuse to see Dr. Huang, although I have a good friend who brings both of her daughters to her and loves her, so I must have just caught her on a very bad day.
