I'm searcing for a pedi who is open to an alternative vaccine schedule. I really want someone who is not only *willing* to allow...but who won't judge me for my choice.

I'm in South Richardson/North Dallas (near Park Central)...any suggestions?

Thank you so much!

Dr Chartrand is great as a family practitioner. If we were closer, I'd certainly consider him for care. For a closer to Dallas pediatrician, I would suggest
Tammy Kennedy. http://www.inwoodvillagepediatrics.com/ She is very well known for trying alternative methods, holistic, and delayed vac. Maybe even no vac. I hear her bedside manner is nice too. Mine, Clinical Pediatrics, will do the Sears schedule, but they are not too thrilled about it.

Try Pediactric Assoc of Dallas on Walnut Hill. I know some of the dr's there are willing to work with the parents on vaccs.

Dr. Deborah Bain - Healthy Kids Pediatrics in Frisco. She is wonderful. She is one of the five pediatricians in Texas that is recommended by Dr. Sears. Her office is at the intersection of Legacy and Lebanon.

We go to a family doctor in McKinney who is supportive of parents decision to not vaccinate or use an alternative vaccination schedule. He is great. He will discuss the the recommendations of vaccines & allow you to decide without pressuring you or making you feel like you are harming your child if you don't follow the recommended schedule. We definately recommend Dr. Chartrand.

Try Norah Randles, MD on Arapaho and Floyd. She was pretty good with my desire to space out the shots for my son, and told me lots of her patients are on alternate schedules.

I only wish I had waited longer and spaced them out more for my older kids as well as the youngest. The more I learn about them, the less I like the timing of those shots. I'm not against the shots, just in favor of waiting until the child is older and only giving one at a time.

Good luck.
