Pediatrician in Gilbert

We really like Mesa Peds. We started at the Chandler location and moved closer to the Gilbert location. We see Dr Wallace- she's great. I never feel rushed when asking questions. We haven't been to the San Tan location.

I would definitely recommend Mesa Peds, however I wouldn't recommend Pueblo Peds. I liked the staff and doctors, however I actually went there as a child about 12 years ago and somehow they missed my severe case of pneumonia, by repeatedly diagnosing it as severe flu or cold, and I ended up in the hospital for 5 days on IV antibiotics and oxygen once they finally did catch it. Besides this incident, they were always very nice and we liked them up until that point. After that incident however we only went back to them for vaccinations and urgent visits, and I went back to seeing my original pediatrician who was in Glendale (long drive but definitely worth it, unfortunately she's retired now). I HATE mesa peds!!! I have had nothing but problems there. I'm still looking for a good pediatrician myself. I hope you and I both can find one!!! :)

I would definitely check out Healing Hearts Pediatrics. They have a Gilbert office on Val Vista between Pecos and Williams Field. They have 7 female providers who are all wonderful. Their main office in is Chandler near Chandler Regional Hospital. They are in the process of finding a larger facility for their Gilbert office. I love the staff and the very caring doctors and nurse practitioners there.

I would check out Pueblo Pediatrics, they are off of Mercy near the Hospital. Dr Salek has been great with my daughter and we have used him for four years. He actually listens to you, and feals your pain. They have two offices one off of Mercy the other is in Mesa, I have never had a problem getting an appointment from either place. We have gone to Pueblo Peds for 2 years and love it. We see Dr. Salek and he is very calm and great with my son. He has 4 children, so he can really relate. Anytime I have had a problem, they get me in fast. One time I called and said my son is having breathing problems and is crying uncontrollablly and they told me to come straight in and to tell the front desk I need to see the doctor right away and they took me straight back. Nurses call back usually within 15-20 minutes. You won't be disappointed.

I go to Mesa Peds and I love it. I usually go to the Tempe office but have been to the San Tan location as well. I have been going there for a few years, I have 4 children and they all like it as well.

K., I've been taking my 2 kids to Mesa Pedes at the Gilbert location (Greenfield/Guadalupe). I've seen Dr. James Smith for a little over 3 years and find him to be wonderful, caring, and very competent. He has 5 kids of his own and is middle-aged so he tends to not be an alarmist. I did not care for the Mesa Pedes San Tan office a couple years ago, and was glad when they moved Dr. Smith back to the Gilbert office. It's important to remember that the Drs at Mesa Pedes practice differently, so if you don't like one, don't mark them all off your list. Best wishes! My kids go to Dr. Aleta da Silva at Mesa Peds and she's sweet. I've been satisfied with the care they provide.

I love Dr. Salek at Pueblo Peds- my kids have seen him for 10 yrs. I've had not so good experience with some of the office from time to time, but the Mercy location seems good.
We keep going back because of Dr. Salek- we won't see anyone else. Don't know what we will ever do if he leaves!

Palo Verde Pediatrics, Dr. Mike Perlstein. My kids think he is GREAT!

We have taken our son to PUeblo Peds for the past 2 years and love it. He primarily sees Dr. Ciminello, but we have seen all 3 doctors and have liked them all. Also, their nurses get back to you very quickly when you leave a message on the nurses line, often preventing a visit to the doctor and their office staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this practice to all of my friend.s Good luck with your search!
