So What Happened?

My daughters 6 month check up with the dentist was on march 4th. I called the doctor he said it could be adult tooth trying to brake through the gums , to have her gargle with warm water and salt . If no results within a few days. I'll take her in . Thank you all for your response !

When is the last time this. Hold was checked by the dentist?

Call your dentist and get it checked. I used a pediatric dentist until my daughter was 16 but a lot of 10 yr olds are perfectly ok for a regular dentist as well.

I hope your child sees a dentist every 6 months. If not, start now.

We have no idea what to tell you and can't diagnose the problem.

I'd have her swish her mouth with warm water/salt . It could be irritated from the tooth, infected, etc. I'd also call her dentist and ask them if this warrants a trip to see them.

I would be. I don't think it should be bleeding still after 7 days ago. Swollen to me means it could be irritated or infection. Is it painful? Any time my kids complain of tooth pain, we take them in.

A 10 year old can go to a regular dentist. Although a pediatric dentist focuses on baby teeth and continues care until the baby teeth are gone at some point kids they will see their regular patients until they're just too old. \

I'd take him in. If he hasn't been in the last 6 months for a good cleaning and stuff then he's due.
